SIn present-day Alexandria, a factory worker, Sayed el-Deeb, dies on the job. The only compensation offered to his family is the employment of his two sons, Hossam (23) on the assembly line and Maro (12) in the workshop, both near the worker who caused Sayed’s accidental death. The brothers try to integrate the factory’s community as best they can. The workers, however, remain suspicious of them: they wonder if Hossam and Maro will try avenging their father.
